He holds a Ph.D. in Homeopathy and an M.D. (Hom.), supplemented by a Postgraduate Diploma in Medical Legal Systems (PGDMLS). Currently, Dr. Sharma serves as the Dean of the Dr. D.Y. Patil Homoeopathic Medical College and Research Centre in Pune, where he also leads the Department of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology as Professor and Head.

In his role at Dr. D.Y.
