As the Sunday evening arrives, I find myself relaxing and thinking about the week that has passed. It’s a time to pause, look back on what I’ve achieved, and plan for the days ahead.
A year ago, on September 2nd, 2023, I received the printed copies of my book, Boger’s Legacy. Exactly a year later, on September 2nd, 2024, I was thrilled to see Boger’s Legacy become the #1 best-selling book on Amazon India. This has been a journey filled with satisfaction, marking an important moment in the history of homeopathy.
However, I don’t see myself as the sole creator of this success. I believe I am just an instrument, a part of something much bigger than myself. I started working on my research for this book back in 2002-2004, and it finally came to life in 2023. Just like how Lord Krishna guided Arjuna in the Bhagavad Gita, I feel that I have been guided by a greater force to bring this book into the world. I want to be clear: I am not comparing myself to any divine power, but simply acknowledging that this journey is not mine alone. It is part of a larger cosmic plan.
On the last page of Boger’s Legacy, I wrote:
“The Next Chapter: Your Role in Advancing Boger’s Legacy
As you close this book, may the journey not end but rather begin anew. With the insights and wisdom gleaned from Boger’s unparalleled work, you are now part of a tradition and a future filled with limitless possibilities. Embrace the legacy, explore the paths not yet taken, and contribute to the ever-evolving world of homeopathy. The next chapter is yours to write…”
This is not the end, but a beginning. It’s an invitation for all who read it to carry forward the work of Dr. Boger, to explore new paths in homeopathy, and to contribute to its growth. The future of homeopathy is in your hands.
In any work, especially one that is meaningful, feedback plays an important role. It helps us improve and makes the final product better. However, not all feedback is equally helpful. Sometimes, the feedback can be vague, without clear suggestions or examples. When feedback like “improve the language” or “the presentation could be better” is given, but no specific details are shared, it becomes difficult to make improvements. Over the past one year, I have noticed that some feedback may come from a place of criticism rather than a genuine desire to help. It can feel like someone is trying to point out flaws without truly helping to fix them.
Good feedback should be clear and specific, showing exactly where things can be improved. This allows the person receiving it to make meaningful changes. If you’ve ever experienced vague feedback, remember, it may say more about the critic than about your work. Let’s aim to give and receive feedback that truly adds value and helps us grow.
Some readers of Boger’s Legacy have mentioned the price of the book as a concern. Last year, when publishers were not willing to publish the book, I decided to publish it myself. Because I was not a regular customer, the cost of printing was higher, which affected the final price of the book. I also chose high-quality paper—80 GSM cream-colored paper—because I wanted the book to feel premium and be something people would want to keep.
In closing, I want to say that this is not just my book. It is the work of Dr. C.M. Boger, much of which was hidden in old journals and not widely known.
During the COVID lockdown, I felt the need to present this work to the homeopathic community.
I am open to all kinds of feedback and suggestions to make Boger’s Legacy better.
This is not just my work—it is your work too.
Please engage with it, critique it, find errors, suggest solutions, and improve it.
This is the legacy we must carry forward together.
I have done my part, and now it’s your turn to enrich, expand, and enhance it.
